Located on West End’s vibrant Boundary Street, Catchment Brewing Co. is one of the neighbourhood’s first and favourite breweries. The idea for the brewery first came around when two local couples agreed that West End lacked one thing: a great brewery. They restored the Boundary Street building and opened their doors in 2015. Today the brewery is made up of two laneway bar areas and a larger seating area.
All Catchment Brewing Co. beers are created and brewed on site. Choose from their core range, which consists of three beers on tap: a bright ale, a pale ale and an IPA. Ask about their special seasonal fourth brew that changes regularly. Alongside their own beers there’s a range of guest beers and ciders available both bottled and on tap.
Sit down for a drink in Brewery Lane or Jacaranda Lane, the spots where all the action happens. Here you can enjoy a brew while looking at the very tanks it was created in. If you fancy something other than beer, check out the wine and spirits on offer.
Pair your drinks with Catchment’s gourmet dishes. The menu changes seasonally but all food is created to complement the brews. Let the staff know if you have special dietary needs and the kitchen will cater for you.
Because it is in such a popular, busy location, the best way to reach the brewery is by public transportation. There is a bus stop just metres from the brewery’s door, and the bus journey from the city centre will take around 15 minutes. If you have to drive, there is parking available for a fee in the area.
Catchment Brewing Co. is open every day. For specific opening times, check the website where you can also book a table and find information on upcoming events, such as live music and food and drink deals.
