"Overall a fine stay with funky architecture, small but functional rooms, convenient location, very fast valet service, and a nice bar. Check-in is odd as you're forced to sign an agreement to not bring in alcohol of your own (I wasn't really planning on it this particular stay, but what hotel forbids you from drinking your own booze in your room?!). "We stayed in a suite and it was nice: It includes a full-sized fridge, microwave, a cook-top, lots of cabinetry and a pullout. However, our room was not available until an hour or two after check-in (although the hotel provided us with a $50 hotel credit for that). "The property is good. Room are too, but with most hotels, there could be some sprucing. The hotel definitely needs new pillow, base around doors & some furniture needs attentions. Lots dents/dings. BUT, the biggest head scratcher is a $16 fee for LA workers! Why am I paying for this & why are all those fees attached to the parking fee. ALL of those fees needs to be disclosed. "
