"I meeded an overnight stop en-route to an event in the area. The location, price and car parking options first attracted me. On arrival I was greeted courteously and made very welcome. The staff were all very professional, but also sympathetic and obliging to a small additional request I had. The room was comfortable and clean, and a good size. Bathroom and Bed both of good standard. Ideally located for an all too brief look around the Town, the Hotel has its own charm, history and character. I...

Hotel was very quiet so service was minimal but good when accessible. No access to any of the grander rooms with views over the gardens. "
