"Awesome location! You feel like you have your own secret passage to home in the middle of everything! All the major sights of York are easily walkable. Weirdly, Expedia didn’t give us a street number which made it hard for us and our taxi driver to find. The room was very spacious, with everything we needed. The shower was awesome. We were greeted warmly and appreciated being able to leave our bags for a while after we checked out. "

"Good location just a few minutes walk from the centre. Access was via a phone call and then being provided with a code. Key card then in the room. Really clean. Was a single night stay and didn’t spend long in the room however can’t fault it for location and price. I was on top floor so also was relatively quiet. Didn’t hear the other residents. I also had my own bathroom which I don’t think all rooms have as I saw separate bathrooms on other floors. I would recommend for a short trip where...

"We stayed for 3 nights for a Christmas shopping trip, the hotel is in a perfect location very close to York Minster and with lovely bars and restaurants on the doorstep. "A surprisingly large large hotel renovated from a lovely Edwardian (or maybe Victorian) redbrick house. The room was cozy enough, though perhaps a new mattress would be a sound investment. I was in an economy single room. It was suitable for work I was doing, as well as walkable to the city centre. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfasts were delicious and satisfying. "

"The studio room we stayed in was lovely and cosy. Everything felt very high-end from the decor to the coffee machine. There wasn’t one thing I’d change. The free parking at the back of the building was an added bonus too. It was the perfect base to explore Harrogate Centre, 5 minute walk and you’re in the centre. Totally recommend this place and very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. "
