"We absolutely loved our stay at the Melia Samui. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous and the service was exceptional. We stayed in a Club Level Room and it was certainly worth the upgrade. The rooms were fantastic, great size and very comfortable beds and pillows. The rooms were on the ground floor so they had direct access to the wrap around pool that goes around the hotel. Great for an afternoon swim. We have to thank the staff at The Level as they really made our holiday special. They were all so lovely and welcoming, we didn't want to leave. Special shout outs go to Maya and her lovely team, Auong, Sky, Mamai, Dew, Keng, Queen, Seen and Lisa. They all looked after us at The Level. The breakfast at The Level was perfect, there was a lot of choice and was part ala carte. We tried the breakfast at the normal breakfast area which was also great but it felt more relaxing and special at The Level. The evening cocktails and canapes were also a bonus. We had great weather the whole time we were there so the sea was beautiful. The bay itself is beautiful although I thought it was a bit too crowded. Another special mention goes to Bauw who looked after us on the beach or around the pool. I would highly recommend this hotel. "

"Do yourself a favour, stop browsing and just book this hotel. It is absolutely wonderful - we had the hillside villa with the pool and it was stunning, tucked away and private with the most amazing hot tub/bath and pool with a sea view. The whole place is nestled amongst nature, the beach is beautiful and quiet and you really get the sense of blending in with the natural environment. The facilities - spa, both pools, gym - were excellent, never too crowded and really well maintained. The restaurants were good quality - shout out to breakfast buffet in particular. Sure, the food and the spa are more expensive than going out to eat locally but nothing crazy. We were able to leave the resort and head to the nearby towns / villages easily using Grab/local taxis. Really what makes this place special though is the staff. From the warm welcome through to lots of little, personal touches throughout our stay, we felt well looked after. All of the staff were wonderful but special shootout to Kookin, Noey, Pang and the gentleman who does the Muay Thai classes (one of the best things we did in our whole trip) for really putting a smile on our face. Can't wait to come back again. "

"We recently (October 2024) stayed in the Sundance Villa as a family of 5 adults and thoroughly enjoyed our 7 nights. Property was amazing, beds were extremely comfortable and each room had its own bathroom giving everyone their own privacy. The pool was amazing and provided hours of fun. Every room had speakers you could connect your spotify to. The games room and cinema were great to enjoy indoor family time. Communication with the staff was easy and nothing was to much trouble, we were able to book tours, massages with ease. Food delivery was also a breeze. Thank you Samui Sunset we loved our vacation!!!"
