"Great location for walking around Galway. The biggest negative was there was no where to pull up and check in temporarily. Parking was a bit of a walk and with luggage it was a challenge. They should probably state that as we were driving around in circles on exactly where to park. We were actually given the wrong coordinates to a parking lot when we called. Room was small for the price but clean"

"Very nice hotel in a super convenient area. Parking was a bit annoying as you have to figure it out yourself but we lucked into street parking right out front that is free overnight. The rooms are quite small but very nice and love the decor. Just make sure to bring your bathing suit! We deeply regretted not being able to use the outdoor heated pool."

"We checked into our rooms. The two of us have stayed at the Leonardo many times on our Visits to Galway. This time we booked and brought in two American friends to visit and tour Galway. Without knowing we were given an “executive” room, which was nice. Had we known, we would have given it to our friends. Our friends compared our room to theirs and felt they were slighted, we had water, snacks, bathrobes, a bigger room and a sitting table, in short a nicer room! They returned to the front deck...

"It was a last minute decision to stay but the staff at reception (Caitriona) was excellent. So friendly , humorous and very efficient. She's a keeper! As was the host for dinner and the bar staff afterwards, all courteous and efficient.. Great staff I have to stay. Food ( lamb) was top class. Room was lovely and comfortable an d a great rate for a last minute booking.. Excellent all around."
