"Fabulous house bang in the middle of Axminster. Lived in Axminster for 6 years and knew where this was but not realised the size of the house. The kids were looked after showing them the skittle alley, darts board and tele, and introduced to all the dogs who they loved! "Needed a hotel where I could leave a trailer. Extremely helpful when I phoned and equally helpful in sorting out afternoon tea even though their kitchen was shut. One of the best meals I have had at the restaurant especially when considering the price. Good breakfast choice. Grounds beautiful and resident peacock and peahen. Tranquil. Bed comfortable just needed to be a little careful of low ish beam in room."

"What a lovely place! The room was surprisingly large with a more than spacious bathroom and both really clean. The adjoining pub/ restaurant had a really good atmosphere with a good range of beers. Staff were really nice friendly willing to help out wherever they can.
