"The room was Sparkling clean. Beds were comfortable and made up excellently! Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee pot (coffee, cream, sugar provided) were all in good working order and very clean. The kitchenware, plates, cups, silverware were also very clean. There is No Maid Service at this motel. Not a problem. Manager provided his number and any fresh towels, linens, soap, shampoo, dish washing liquid, coffee required were delivered on the spot. Kind of unique, but the system was run smoothly....

"Stay was excellent. There were plenty of water and beach toys to keep the younger children entertained. The family enjoyed skipping rocks and painting them. The lake has a sandy floor and is about 3.5 feet deep for a very large, excellent swim and play area before getting deeper. All amenities (and more!) were on-hand and made the stay very enjoyable. The park nearby is worth checking out, and Port Austin is a charming small town with excellent ice cream options. Highly recommend this...

"Enjoyed a week-long stay at the farmhouse! The kids enjoyed the goats and checking for eggs from the chickens. Many peaceful spots on the property to read or put up a hammock and take a nap! We used the location for my daughter's senior pictures. Great communication with owner - always very helpful and gracious!"
