"Amazing well equipped spacious chapel. I actually got lost in it when I first entered. We were 6 couples enjoying a birthday celebration and it exceeded all our expectations. Beautiful furnishings with attention to detail. Fully equipped kitchen with a spare kitchen if needed (which you don’t) Heating system worked very well, considering the size of the property too. James was very prompt with a query. A pub and walks on your doorstep everything you could possibly need. Can’t wait to revisit. "

" Whatever I say will not be good enough. We absolutely loved everything about this place. The beds and pillows are so comfy and the linen was impeccable. Its location is sublime. If you like being in the middle of nowhere without a phone signal, superb scenery and walks? then this is the place. We did not want to leave and will definitely be back. Finished to a high standard and impeccably clean you will want for nothing, other than maybe some mirrors upstairs and champagne flutes to continually...

"We booked the cottage for a week's stay whike work was being done on our home. It was a real home from home too. Everything's there, including electric blankets to warm the beds. Although thd heating kept the cottage toasty, we turned most off except living room and bathroom. Loved the log burner too, a real focal point. Internet provided was good, a bonus as the phone signal there is poor, as is most of the local area due to hills etc. Would certainly recommend."

The location is perfect – with plenty of scope for walking and pop visits. WiFi is poor in wider areas of the house but excellent within the room of the house the modem is in. However, this is expected in a building of this size and didn’t ruin the weekend at all. Perfect location if visiting the Gatehouse Theatre

"Perfect location as we were going to the Gateshouse Theatre, which was just a few minutes walk. We did eat there and the food was nice. The room was ideal for the evening, the only negative was we couldn't turn the radiator off or down. Staff throughout were very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again if we were in the area."
