When she offered to make us breakfast the next day, I did not think she was serious, but she did make us a lovely, plant based very yummy and filling breakfast! The room did not have coffee, nor was that included in breakfast, only tea products. So, if you are a heavy caffeine drinker, expect to bring your own grounds. "The cabin is lovely and relaxing. It is isolated enough to enjoy the solitude of the land around you without being far from a neighbor. The location was perfect for us who had family staying at different venues from a hotel in Trinidad to camper camping at the creek a couple of miles up the road. Of the different cabin type places to stay - this one is exceptionally lovely. We would definitely stay again."

"It was an amazing pick. Cabin secluded in the hills with views of the Spanish peaks. Everything you need is there. 40 min drive into Trinidad. They have snacks, and we left snacks for the next visitors. We left candy, popcorn, and some sodas for movie night. They also have board games and movies. We grilled burgers and with those views! We appreciated the privacy. We can’t wait to come back. "
