"Our stay here was wonderful! The staff was always welcoming, patient, friendly, helpful and kind. The hotel is so central…close to so many places we could walk to. Restaurants, markets, shops, parks for our kids, some attractions and a lovely river that’s so peaceful to walk along and sit by. The restaurant offered a lovely breakfast and lunch. The room was spacious (fit the 4 of us comfortably with all our bags), clean and the bath tub was a dreammm! I’ll be recommending here and staying here again. "

"We had a great stay at Nohga hotel! The hotel is conveniently located about an 8 minute walk from the train station, and walking distance from Kiyomizu temple and the famous Sanenzaka and Ninenzaka streets. The hotel has a modern organic style, cute lobby with bakery that was always bustling, and a great rooftop bar with great cocktails and views. Every staff member was extremely polite and friendly, and the service was top notch. Our room was on the smaller side but was thoughtfully laid out and had everything we needed and was very clean, and it was enough space to open our luggage which is more than many Japanese hotels. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great place to stay in Kyoto!!"
