"It is an older property, but I saw NO bugs of any kind and the room was updated with the TV on a moveable mount and a waterfall shower with excellent pressure. The room was small but I was alone so it worked out. The hotel is across the street from Lincoln Center and the transportation options were AWESOME!!! New York is amazing and from this location EVERYTHING was right THERE!!! Times Square, Central Park, the list goes on and on and ON!!! I ABSOLUTELY recommend this hotel!!!"

"Quaint accommodations. Very friendly staff. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable. I wasn’t aware that they had cars available at the hotel for guest to use at a moments notice, and at a reasonable price. It made it so easy to transport us to events we planned and transportation to the airport. It was a very pleasant stay. "

"The only downside was lack of coffee maker/refrigerator in the room. Prepare yourself for that, and everything will be perfect. Desk staff was incredibly friendly, check-in went very smoothly. We were lucky enough to have a room with an actual "view" instead of a view of the next building -- all to common in NYC. I would definitely stay here again."

"The Wallace provides quality, comfort and restfulness all within the bustling big city. Staff are super attentive and friendly, offering bag check services, answering questions and providing extra things for the rooms if needed. As for the room, ours was immaculate. Super clean and comfy bed. We slept so well during our stay. The bathroom was spacious and the rainfall shower was a real treat. We were also fortunate enough to have a room with a nice view of the city. Yes, some construction was happening nearby but we were usually out of the room when this was going on, so not really an issue. All this to say, we would definitly stay at The Wallace again if ever in NYC."

"The person who checked me in was delightful. The room was clean and very nice and the housekeeping staff very responsive. Room was obviously updated with new bathroom fixtures and bedroom lighting. If you expect perfection though it might not be hotel for you. Shower takes about five minutes to get warm water. Bottom of bathroom door flaking, little sign of wear and tear throughout room. Dust above bathroom door frame. TV difficult to figure out and doesn’t stay on channel. The charm, cleanliness overrode these issues for me, but may not for others. In room fridge but would have appreciated a microwave and a safe, which I thought was included."
