We loved staying here. Laura was so nice to us, nothing was too much for her. From the warm welcome, providing information about Venice to the wonderful breakfast, she was always happy to help. The room was very spacious, on the left there is a day bed to relax and read a book, to the right there is two comfortable chairs with a table to enjoy a cup of tea. The bed is in the centre and was very comfortable. You can also relax in the living room watching the boats pass by on the Grand Canal. It is only a ten minute walk from the train station and water bus stop is right in front.There are lots of great restaurants nearby. We highly recommend this place. Thanks Laura.

The room was large and had a really nice sized bathroom as well. View from the room was simply amazing, location was convenient, only one street over from the vaporetto station, so easy to get around. Laura and her husband were very helpful in providing the transportation information and local suggestions. We only had breakfast one of the days since we were taking an early flight the next day, it was served on a cart and such a nice & relaxing experience enjoying the breakfast while looking out the window. Only suggestion would be to add some darker curtains to the windows so the light doesn’t wake us up so early in the morning.

Absolute gem
Stayed for 2 nights as part of our tour of northern Italy. Have to say that if you stay at a weekend the traffic on the canal can be a little noisy, but it’s worth it. We stayed Sunday - Tuesday and Monday night was definitely quieter. The hosts are amazing, make you welcome and deliver breakfast to your room. The room is spotless and beautiful with an amazing view of the grand canal. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Venice.

Mosquitos were a problem because windows had no screens. Tiny dark stairs were not easy to handle with luggage, esp for old people. Should have been noted up front. Hosts were gracious and helpful, gave welcome suggestions.

Absolutely stunning vacation rental! Laura is an exceptional host, from greeting you with a smile to answering any questions and having all info about Venice available. The attic room was perfect for the four of us, especially the breakfast delivered to the room in the morning. We will definitely come back to Venice and definitely stay at the B&B Vista sul Canal Grande. Even Laura’s kittens in the courtyard made you feel at home! The host was very kind. Room big enough for four. Bathroom a little challenging if you are tall but is manageable. (We had the attic suite) Breakfast was brought to our room and was very nice. We chose this location for its proximity to the train station as we had a 5:15 am train to catch for our departure and it is just a 10 min walk. The main sights are on the other end of the island which is quite a bit farther but we enjoyed navigating the bridges, narrow alleyways, and courtyards on our sightseeing journey. The B and B is on the Grand Canal but in a quieter location which was nice.

The B&B was darling! It was very comfortable, spotless and had everything that we needed to have a lovely stay. Our room faced the beautiful grand canal, which we enjoyed every moment. Laura, our host, was welcoming and so accommodating. She brought us a delicious breakfast cart right to our room each morning. Laura greeted us, assisted with our luggage and reviewed the facilities, breakfast and gave us a map along with a booklet of recommended dining, shops, ferry info, etc. We stayed in the Attica room sharing with our friends for 2 nights. I wish we could have stayed 2 additional nights. It rained on and off both days and the first evening we brought a few groceries in from a local market and sat at the table in our “suite” with a bottle of wine, cheeses and fresh bread chatting! Later we enjoyed drinks at a local pizzeria then dinner at a fine restaurant from the recommended list. A frig is provided in the kitchen for your items and a carafe of water is provided as well! The views from our unit were limited but we were able to see the Grande Canal. The ferry pick up and drop is right out front! Will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Lovely large room. Large bathroom. Very clean. Right on the grand Canal. It was noisy. Boat horns going off / busy intersection. VERY convenient to shopping and restaurants. Felt safe.
