Venus Beach is one of Marbella’s liveliest beaches. Easy to access and with facilities of a high standard, it is a go-to coastal destination for most people vacationing nearby. Come here to work on your tan, go for a swim or get active on the water.
Get an idea of what’s offered on the beach by going for a relaxing walk along its short 1,312-foot (400-meter) length. Notice the excellent services and high level of cleanliness that have led this beach to be recognized with a Blue Flag Award.
Bring kids of all ages to the beach, which is very popular with families. Let your children play in the gentle waves during the high season, but do be aware that at other times of year the currents are strong and the water may be unsuitable for swimming. Give your little ones the chance to make friends with some of the many other children who come to the beach each day.
Rent a sun lounger beneath a tropical-style thatched beach umbrella or relax in a rented hammock. Public bathrooms, showers and a range of restaurants directly on the beach mean you can stay here the whole day without needing to leave at any point. If you do want a change of scenery, the many stores, restaurants and bars of the downtown area are just minutes away on foot.
Try out some of the water sports offered by various businesses close to the beach. Head to the western end of the beach and you will reach Puerto Deportivo, where a boat club and a yacht club are located, and where you can head out on a boat trip for the day.
Find Venus Beach directly to the south of Marbella’s city center. Stay in one of the many hotels or apartments located within easy walking distance, or drive to the beach from Málaga in just under an hour.
