"The property is just as described, and looks just like the pictures. Home was clean and cozy. I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures! You cannot beat this affordable price. Our host Dawn ensured everything was perfect for our stay. We had absolutely no issues. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Water was hot and pressure was good. AC was cold and there are also ceiling fans. TVs worked and had free apps to watch movies. If you rent, please be respectful of the rules and of the property. It's a really nice home and I would definitely stay here again when I come to visit my family. "

"My family and I were in search of a property that would allow us privacy and the feeling of a cabin in the woods. We were delighted with the build quality of the cabin and the responsiveness of the property managers. The explanations and details given in the listing matched our expectations when we arrived. We visited the town of Edenton exploring a rich history of early America. "

"We enjoyed our stay @ your cottage. It was well equipped and a peaceful location. Some draw blinds over the patio doors would have helped block the sun where we would watch TV but we managed to drape the leg blankets over that doorway and block the sun that way.We will keep your place in mind for another stay."

"This property has had a bad reputation in the past, but it has now been renovated. The king bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean but sloppy caulking in the bathroom makes the floor around the toilet look dirty but it is not dirty. The shower was fine with a good shower head and hot water. It was a very hot, humid day and night, but the air conditioning kept us cool. The person checking us in was friendly and helpful. There is nothing fancy about this place but it met our needs adequately."

"Pro: pretty clean, fenced in yard, very spacious, AC worked well, comfortable beds, roof doesn’t leak.Cons: some lightbulbs burned out and not working including the kitchen and main family room with the one couch of the house, very little kitchen supplies (there is a coffee pot with coffee grounds and filters but no coffee mugs), lack of any kind of cleaning supplies: no paper towels, broom, dishwasher pods, no washcloths or hand towels, no working washer or dryer (washer was unplugged with standing water inside and when turned on leaked water everywhere), no door on one bedroom, and a guest bathroom and another guest bedroom has doors that wouldn’t close fully, bathtub was unusable as it had paint peeling so badly it would flake off and stick to our bodies, door with code to open has no doorknob so very hard to leave the premises-we had to either go out the front door and wait around to the carport or slam the door shut and hoped it worked, large pile of trash and garbage just sitting in the carport, there was a brand new television in the living room but no remote to turn it on (however, tv was not listed as an amenity). Also, craziest of all, the home had a foreclosure sign and warning on the front door with a court date that was during our stay. I’ve never written a poor review before but there was just too much wrong not to warn other potential customers."

"nice quite, off the beaten path house that my family of 3 adults, one dog, and two kids enjoyed. nice set up, with space to relax. ( gave me ideas for my own home). amanda was quick to respond and help when i needed it. would come back in a heartbeat if i get another chance."

"My family needed a place to stay for Memorial Day weekend. It worked out much better than a hotel. The beds were comfortable. It was as advertised. An old farm house that brought back many memories. Will definitely stay again if the need arises. "

"The home was so lovely and comfortable. My only issue was a huge cockroach the ran across the kitchen counter. Scared me to death and I was afraid it would get in our snack food. Everything else was wonderful. "
