"Literally needed a police escort to leave this place due to a situation with a fight that led to some drunk friend of the innkeeper following us to our Suite screaming at us. We had to lock ourselves in the room... We never met the actual innkeeper Tina. She was nowhere to be found. We met Kyle who PORTRAYED himself as the innkeeper. "Our stay at Meadowlard was fantastic! The property was exactly as depicted in the listing and most importantly, CLEAN. The place is especially great for those with kids. There is a large outdoor area to enjoy and no stairs inside the unit to worry about. Harris Teeter is right around the corner and the beach is a short walk from the property. Property manager was extremely responsive. We will definitely stay here again! "

"Our group of six adults were in town for my daughter’s wedding weekend. The townhome is beautiful and exactly as described and pictured on the app. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were in walking distance to VB and the boardwalk. This made it perfect for my morning runs and for getting to restaurants. Communicating with Sheppard was very easy and she responded very quickly. I would definitely book here again when we are in the area!"

"Great stay for daughter’s wedding that was in Norfolk. There is a fair amount of road noise from 22nd street at night, but the house makes up for it. It’s clean and comfortable.
