"It's a stylish apartment with excellent service, daily cleaning and good vibes. It included everything we needed, and it is all brand new. Better than any "typical" hotel we've been in in a long while. Beautifull location up in the village 2 min walk from the center with plenty of figs trees, vines and flowers. "Wouldn't call this exactly a hotel, it's more like some family owned bunch of rooms in a big house. But they are well maintained and convenient enough, although quite simple. The location is nice, meters from the sea and a lot of restaurants on the promenade, the beach however is about 10 minute walk away. Nice, quiet place, good base for exploring the western part of Crete. Very friendly staff, well prepared with information and hand-enhanced printed maps for the region."

"Staff here are almost as lovely as the views. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. The bedroom was comfortable and clean, AC worked (except when you had to leave the room with the key) but the bathroom is weird with the showers allowing water to flood the floor (this is normal in Greece I think). Taxi's charge a lot to get to and from here- so book a rental! Overall- very happy with my stay and look forward to going back!"

"While the staff were very friendly the hotel was very limited insofar as amenities. The room was not well prepared with bathroom plumbing requiring emergency repair to render it safe. Even with that repair it was a very ‘rustic’ room with little comfort. The most difficult aspect of the hotel was the 90 stairs that had to be climbed to access the room! This was not for the faint of heart and should be highlighted in the description."

"One of the best stays we've had. Konstantina and Kyriakos are wonderful hosts; helpful, kind and generous. Konstantina prepared a list of really good places to visit and eat and every one hit the spot. We were there for just over a week and did not run out of venues. The accommodation looks brand new. Thalassa has a separate bedroom and living room plus a little kitchenette, bathroom and a great patio. There's plenty of space. Two TVs and 2 separate ac's. Very quiet area in the hills...
