"If you like nature, the fortress is for you. Completely out in the woods with no neighbors in sight. This is a wonderfully relaxing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. "The only issue we had was that when we arrived it was extremely hot in the home and the air conditioners (window units) were also on. When we tried to turn the heat down, the thermostat was locked. I went back and forth with the property owner and he finally unlocked the thermostat remotely so we could adjust it. I've never experienced that before. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse. We stayed for a few days for the Nascar cup series race in Martinsville. We also enjoyed the serenity and the wildlife we seen during our stay! The house has a fully equipped kitchen and the bathrooms even were equipped with badic heeds as well. We meant both John and Rose before we left and they're both a nice and pleasant couple. They also were very responsive whenever we needed someone. Thank you letting us be your guest and we will stay here...
