"Initially booked into room 7 ( annex) . Hadn't fully appreciated the access issues / stairs / downstairs toilet/ wardrobe. Staff were brilliant and moved to room 15 inside hotel immediately. Friendly staff , great food and only 1.5 miles from Whitby . ( Although Park and Ride does not start until Spring) . Would certainly book again ."

"Lovely room, double view across the harbour and across the town… beautiful! Very comfortable bed , the bathroom was clean but a little worn Staff were really friendly and helpful.. The breakfast was delicious served with a view across the harbour "

"Overall pleasant stay, presented well and clean. Amazing breakfast with friendly staff. Room was generous size. Our main complaints are the floodlight shining through the window all night with thin curtains, speaker in the ceiling downstairs that hasn’t been soundproofed so there’s fairly loud music playing when trying to sleep and lack of decent shower that’s also nearly impossible to set at a consistent temperature. One minor thing is the plaster crumbling off the wall by the window making it...

"Excellent stay. Really nice, large bedroom with excellent views. Generally very comfortable although mattress a little hard for my liking but that is a personal thing. Hotel had plenty of public space with 2 bars and plenty of loung areas as well as a comfortable dining room. Food excellent and good value. I am sure we will be back"
