"The reception staff were fantastic. They instantly took a shine to our pup , Freddie, and made him feel welcome too. They were really helpful. The room was lovely. We had a Superior. We ate in on the first evening and we had the Fish stew which was my ultimate comfort food. So good in fact that we are in the following night as well. We couldn’t fault breakfast either. There is a wide choice and there is more than ample with the ‘ Full English’ enough to keep you going throughout the day. Did we have a good relaxing and attentive weekend? Yes , absolutely. We’re already booking to go back in the Spring. "

He even came to find us when our room was ready early. A very old building full of character and squeaky floorboards but that just added to its charm. "
