Wick Bay Apartments
3.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (6)
"We actually got moved to the Norseman Hotel as We felt the approach to the property was not the best as loads of pot holes in the road. The property looked like it had been a nursing home, it needed some landscaping outside we felt the security was not good as the main door which was not signposted was open and the room that we were given was unlocked and the door looked like it had had a letter box which was boarded up. The room was clean and tidy but it looked as if nobody was there to help as...

GWR Dickson's B&B
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"Katrina the host was very helpful and answered all my questions before arrival. We are a group of 4 Motorcyclists completing the NC500 and this place has excellent secure bike parking in the courtyard garden. House is very clean and tidy. Perfect for what we wanted at a great price. Property improvement suggestions - put more showers in - just 1 shower between 4 bedrooms, could do with a second one. And lastly a very small thing but an easy fix - get a proper bed for the 4th bedroom (2nd bedroom...

"Fantastic stay at John O Groats. We had booked a double ensuite room which looked lovely. When we arrived the manager was waiting for us to ask if we would mind if they upgraded our room as the heating wasnt wasnt working. Obviously we didnt mind. Imagine our surprise when we were shown to our upgraded room. They had given us a three bedroomed, two bathroom lodge which was amazing. Warm, comfortable clean and pur luxury. NC500 route, on the North Coast of Scotland, 5 miles from panoramic beaches.
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"We chose this property because it was perfectly located for hiking along the John O’Groats Trail and accessing the ferries to Orkney. The house was spotless and spacious. It had an upstairs with 3 bedrooms and a bath which we didn’t even use. The kitchen had everything we needed; loved the washer and dryer. The host was super accessible- not that we needed her. "

"Everything was as advertised and was terrific. The location is stunning. The lodge was clean and comfortable. The appliances did their jobs and the fireplace, bedding, and every other detail were all just right. Our only complaint is that we were not informed of what was clearly a scheduled power outage on our last morning which was inconvenient, to say the least."
