"I like waking up with the sound of the birds, not like from the noise that one experience in town. Its isolation makes it more nice as a place to relax from all the fatigue of stresses and hotness. The lodge is really a place one can go just to relax for two or three days. I took game driving about was not really satisfied as we did not see many animals but the driver was really good and have a best customer service one could offer. "

"It is the oldest private game preserve, and it shows. Wrinkled pictures in frames filled with dead bugs, the yard needs a serious clean. That being said the bar/dinner area is quite lovely. Game drive vehicles are ancient. (One hour drive is R450, which seems really steep). I stayed at one of the ‘chalets’. As basic as it gets. "It is definitely okay it's not something you gonna love, but it's okay people are relatabily nice. food is okay. Rooms are, not the cleanest lodge tbh. but, it's okay. Don't look for fancy stuff here"
