"Sara at the front desk was exceptional. Our checked suitcase had been misplaced on our flight and we were told by the airport staff (nicely) that we would have to go back to the airport the next day to see if it hopefully arrived. We only had that next day as our one full day before our cruise. Thankfully Sara was able to get our suitcase delivered the next morning and we were able to pick it up at the front desk just after breakfast! It was such a relief and so appreciated that she helped us with this unfortunate circumstance during our 40th anniversary trip. "

"I was very pleased with this hotel from the get-go with their friendly staff, their storage lockers for guests who arrive before check-in time, the comfortable full-size bed, and the modern and spacious bathroom. I stayed in one of the smallest rooms, but it was perfect for me as a solo traveler. My room had ample electrical outlets, light switches that made sense, a full-size mirror, a suitcase rack, a small desk and chair, mini fridge a safe and a 27" TV, which had a nice mix of channels in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Catalan. The real star of the room however was the spacious and modern bathroom which had a large mirror, clean towels, body wash, shampoo/conditioner and lots of hot water. The shower was surprisingly big and even had a useful and well-positioned grab bar. I would definitely recommend this hotel and consider staying there again."

"This is simply an outstanding hotel - one of our favorites across Europe. Our family (parents and two young kids) stayed there for three nights in May and had an incredible experience. The hotel is basically new - only a year old - and in fantastic shape. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Even more impressive is the staff, who went out of their way at every possible moment to make sure our fmaily had an incredible stay. I honestly couldn't reccomend Hotel la Pau any more highly - it is an incredible place."
