"It isn’t a 4 star hotel, the rooms are tiny and basic, no baths, the sink was stained, no water fountains on the floors, vending machine didn’t work, hole in the ceiling in the hallway of block 4, food basic and bland after the 3rd day knew what to expect each day. The staff were polite, friendly and welcoming, rooms were cleaned every day and the cleaners were always polite and helpful, but I will not be returning. The rooms need to be updated."

"The Don Miguel hotel is HUGE! It's a large, sprawling hotel that needs a bit of renovation, but is in a great location, with the entrance being on the corner of a main road. It is very close to the Yumbo Centre and all the fun that entails, as well as being opposite a small if expensive supermarket. The staff here are amazing! Everyone greeted you with a smile and that made a huge difference to me. The receptionist even called my transfer company for me and made sure that my airport pick-up was...

Defintely do the all inclusive - the food put out was different everyday and was often themed (mexican, asian etc) with plenty of other choices- the drinks included in the all inclusive were pretty good - beer, wine, prosecco, sangria all on tap or readily available to order as well as all the spirits and mixers.
