"Richmond Hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Utsunomiya Station. The room size is generous and the staffs are very helpful. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping areas nearby. The breakfast is good and delicious. I recommend Richmond Hotel when you are in Utsunomiya!"

"Very convenient location to Utsunomiya station. Checkin was seamless. The usual smallish business hotel room. Although it had a better layout than other places we've stayed, which made it easier with our luggage. Room vacuuming seems a bit slapdash as we found hair on the floor around the room. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the restaurant staff were fantastic. Like most business hotels the pillows were the flat buckwheat style, so not great. "

"壁が薄いようで隣室の会話がまともに聞き取れるレベルで驚いたが、予約時に喫煙可の部屋しかなくコメント欄に「もし当日禁煙の部屋に空きがあればそちらに変えて欲しい」旨を記載していたらタバコ臭のない部屋だったのでとても有り難く助かりました。また朝食の女性スタッフも朝早くからテキパキと気働きして気分良く過ごすことが出来ました。ありがとうございました。"

"A older hotel, but still nice. I found the pillows and bed to be too hard--I could feel the springs in the mattress. The hotel is clean and very well kept. The front desk staff were great and the cleaning staff do an excellent job. My small frustration was the parking fee. The charged ¥1000/night for parking which I thought was fine (¥1500 or more at most places). But then I discovered it was a local surface lot that only cost ¥700 for 24 hours. That just feels "cheap" on the hotel's part."
