"We arrived very late on a flight, which had been delayed. I was unsure if any of my messages informing of late arrival (at initial booking) had been received. "To be honest I was pretty impressed with the room, there was a double and a single bed, two sofas, some chairs, a desk and a good size TV that I could sign in on to watch iPlayer. What annoyed me more than anything was the woman on the front desk for check-in. She was clearly doing something when we arrived to check-in (which was late in the day but not outside the check-in hours) and instead of any sort of greeting she just stared at me, considering I had bags with me I was obviously there to...

"Hotel clean but in process of being repainted. Hotel not in nicest area but very close to bullring and practically opposite grand central station. Car park is a 5 minute walk away and you have to pay daily rate while it is cheaper it still adds to cost. Car park is secure but so secure we couldnt get back in as nobody answered the phone and we had to wait nearly 20 minutes for someone to coming out to get in. "

"Great stay at easy hotel. Reachable and in the city center. So close to the Birmingham New street train station, the station is also like a small mall. Anjali in the reception was so great and helpful."

"We were a group of friends for the festive party. The Village would have known how many people were booked in, yet only 2 bar staff were allocated to the bar. We had to keep leaving the room to get drinks from the main bar. Why not just put more staff on? The breakfast options were good, BUT when asked where to put some recycled items, we were told to put it in the bin. How is that eco-friendly?"

"Not bad! Was a little nervous with some the reviews and pictures. However, for what we paid it was great! Free parking was a great bonus."
