"Easy check in, room was a good size. Wasn't noisy throughout the night although we could hear everything in the hallway in the morning. Breakfast options were good and the staff were happy and helpful. Would stay here again gladly if in the area."

"The stay was great I just feel like the windows don’t give enough air so there should be AC in the rooms as they get really warm quick and it’s hard to sleep with the heat. The beds comfy but the pillows are a bit too soft. Overall the stay was great and the staff was pleasant. However, I think some of the staff don’t know the check out time. Both told me and my partner different times first and then 11am. Hotel is close to city centre which is great "

"I imagine this hotel was nice… 20 years ago when the photos advertising it were taken. Such a shame because it’s a nice building in a lovely area. I can’t speak for the original building itself, maybe those rooms are better kept, but we were placed in the outbuilding across the way and the rooms were incredibly tired and shoddy, with chipped paintwork and soiled carpet. The toilet was stained and there were no toiletries in the bathroom. On arrival, we had to use the telephone as instructed on...

"Lovely place, comfortable clean room and good breakfast. I didn’t eat in the restaurant / bar in the evening but it was packed and the food looked really good. I was welcomed at reception by a friendly helpful receptionist and the lady serving breakfast was also friendly and helpful. In all it was a really good experience and I will be returning. "
