"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Beachside Inn. We loved being close to the ocean and going for walks along the beach. It's also close to a number of nice dining places and State Street, the downtown part of Santa Barbara with a number of fun shops as well as the art museum. The hotel offers a great breakfast, likely the best of any hotel I've stayed at. It was so nice to stay in a community that respects the environment as for once the tableware wasn't plastic. The staff was very courteous....

"The restaurant is so amazing. The locals go eat there. The pool and jacuzzi too. "

"This is a clean and well maintained hotel. It has a bistro type restaurant and bar and the food is good though a bit generic. Marketplace is medium sized though prices are of course high. The courtyard is nice but be sure to get a room facing it and not the highway. The main downside is this obnoxious thing hotels are doing in CA since the pandemic, namely, not cleaning the room every day. Come on people that was 2-3 years ago. Spend the money and hire some staff. "
