"Setting in a lively and interesting area of stonetown, Darajani Market. Simple clean rooms with bathroom and shower, good air conditioning. Staff were very kind and helpful. Good value for low-cost."

"We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing. The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable. If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort. "

"What a wonderful stay - the room was comfortable and chic with strong AC, a comfort bed, and a nice bathroom. The rooftop bar and pool were lovely with amazing views of the ocean. "This is good property but would need extra care to bring it go to place. Our rooms were not ready upon check in due to electrical problems. The appliances in the kitchen are faulty and electrocutes when plugged in. Raised the issues but not addressed. The tv remote did not have batteries on checking in and it took more than 24 hours to get it working. The manager tried to charge extra 2 dollars per night per guest that was no where stated during booking or listed in the receipt. The staff...

"Had a room at the very top of the building but good exercise with concrete steps. Room very pleasant. Good AC and kettle/coffee/tea in room. Breakfast included in room price very good. Prices for other meals expensive but lots of options within walking distance. Boutique attached to hotel. Overall convenient, clean and comfortable with pleasant and accommodating staff for a short stay in Stone Town. "
