"Nice hotel in the main area of Stone Town. The B&B was close to the main hotel and for half the price it was worth the short walk for breakfast and the pool. It’s right on the beach as well which is nice to watch the sunset at night. The apartments were a bit noisy at night but overall a nice place. They have an airport pick up which was easy and a short drive. Laundry service was available as well. Only note is that the gentleman who supported the B&B was pushy about getting us on a tour or...

"Lovely property in a quiet corner of Stonetown. Great swimming pool. Historic quality of hotel added a charming feel. Most rooms overlook the ocean. The amenities were complete and the room was very comfortable. Spend a little extra to get an outside balcony or verandah. The staff was wonderful and helpful. There are lots of restaurants nearby. I can't speak for the food at the on property restaurant since I had to leave early and skipped the breakfast. I would definitely stay here...

"Daniela was a fantastic and welcoming host. This historic, well appointed hotel will be a favorite memory and repeat visit. The food was delicious. The coffee and beds were some of the best I've had in Africa. Daniela and I had a great conversations and she arranged a prison island tour for us. It was my second trip to Stone Town and second tour. Last time it wasn't bad but this time it was a better experience. The pilot and your guide this time were far superior to the last prison island...
