"Honestly loved my stay here. Staff were amazing, bed uber comfy and room nice and clean. Only reason for slight mark down on facilities was the TV remote was poor, probably just needed batteries changing but very very slow at changing channels, but as I say this was simply a little annoying. I'd absolutely recommend this hotel. Fab area too. Lots to do. "

"We stayed here on the busiest night of the year in Newcastle with the football parade. They let us check in early with our bags. The first room had a window seal issue and they immediately moved us when we complained about the noise. We got a room on the top floor. Perfect quiet and comfort. The room was well equipped. There was a nice restaurant with great food. Getting a taxi in the morning was very easy with their service. Very convenient to the train station. We would definitely stay here again. "

"I often stay at The Vermont and have always had a good experience. On this occassion, Daniel (don't think iv seen him before) at Reception was amazing. We had a very early start and were tired from our journey. Daniel swifty took care of our bags and bought us some coffee. Helped us with suggestions for Brunch places. Overall, Daniel was very kind, helpful and has amazing front of house presence. "

"Reasonable price. Good sized room. Heating very basic - either very hot or cold. Thin duvet, comfy bed. Had suite but living area too narrow to watch tv- tv very close to sofa. Lovely breakfast."
