"Nice hotel right in the centre of Birmingham, a bit noisy though as loads of traffic and parking was not available at the hotel- option offered to park at 10 min walking distance though. Overall I would say good as convenient to walk to restaurants etc. "

"The hotel was on the University of Nottingham campus. It was a mile from Beeston where my daughter is living. The rooms were excellent, the food was great and the price made it an extremely good value. I would stay here again."

"I stayed at the hotel a day before I was to continue there for a conference. Whitney is amazing!!! Just awesome! Nothing was too much trouble. However, I asked the gent in the mornings at the desk to please refill my shower gel and he didn't - I had to ask Whitney and it was done almost immediately. Breakfast was ok - wasn't awesome. Not a lot of choice in drinks and no hot chocolate for those who do not drink coffee. It was a very nice stay, just wish that the shower gel and shampoo was checked...

"Staff friendly. Room good. Hotel nice looking. Great breakfast. Easy walk to Birmingham New Street and Moor Street and Bullring shops. Major building work right outside over quite a wide local area. Quiet at night however."

"Attended a business dinner then stayed overnight. The food was lovely including the breakfast. Rooms were good (great shower pressure!). The only slight negative was that the earliest breakfast (Saturday) was 8am. My colleague had to leave at 7:15 so he left without food. "
