"Last minute late night booking due to cancelled flight. Convenient to get to via shuttle bus. Staff friendly upon arrival. Room was excellent. Comfortable large bed, good shower, quiet environment. Paid extra for breakfast. Plenty on offer, hot and cold. Opted for the hot buffet breakfast, which was OK, but have had better. Overall, a pleasant one night stay."

"At first I couldn’t find a way out to road. No sign ‘Exit’ enable me to drive out easily especially when it was dark. It was almost impossible to close the blind in bathroom. I couldn’t dare to stand in bath naked in front of window where residents or staff could see me. I just managed to reach blind cord using my finger tips as the the cord was 2/3rd way up the window in Room 5. Short people, like my partner, couldn’t reach it at all unless he climbed onto window sill - no way as he was 85...

"We had the most amazing time at the Gantry. I was celebrating my 70th birthday with my best friend and we had a lovely twin room on the 17 th floor. It was very quiet and luxurious with robes towels and toiletries. The staff were lovely and I was treated with a surprise call to the room by Khalib singing happy birthday , cake , chocolates and balloons! Lucy the manager could not do enough for us including booking us a taxi to ABBA voyage. Thankyou the Gantry from Sue and Shirley we had the best...

"Rooms are a little 'tired' in need of a revamp, but was okay for an overnight stay. We didnt get to use all of the facilities on this visit (the pool/gym), so cannot comment on that. The room could've done with a better clean for sure, but I have stayed in a lot worse places, so overall 3 stars for cleanliness. The staff on reception and in the breakfast room are the nicest people I've come across on a business level in recent years and they're the reason for our repeat returns to this hotel...

"Hotel was fine, I guessonly stayed for one night so didn't spend too much time there. However, I don't think that I have ever been made to feel so unwelcome when trying to order a drink at the bar - my experience has always been that the bar is available to residents after hours - not here, at least not without a fuss - so if you're planning to have a few drinks with friends/ colleagues make sue that you finish early!"
