"Quick check in. Nice bar. Clean. Comfy bed. Bit noisy in corridors at times and not a fan of the separate toilet & shower. The handheld shower wouldnt point down so it just fired water out aggressively and leaked out the shower."

"This was my second visit to Edinburgh and my first stay at the Apex Waterloo and I loved it! The hotel is well situated in the center of the city and close to all the major attractions. The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff are very welcoming and sweet. The sauna, steam room and pool are terrific. And I booked a room with a tub large enough for two people and it was a lovely treat! I highly recommend Apex Waterloo for a fantastic stay! "

"As good as big, impersonal, city centre chain hotels normally are. The building is pretty dated on the outside, but fine on the inside. Staff are friendly, it's very convenient for the city (by bus) and parking wasn't an issue. "
