"The hotel is in a great location for easy access to Windermere. The pool was a short drive away, and as we were there for only a couple of nights we didn't get to use it. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Our bed was comfortable and the shower was lovely. Would be very happy to stay there again on our next visit to Windermere. "

They specifically requested that I leave a glowing review as they found the accommodation to be excellent and were keen to pass on their thanks to the helpful staff with particular mention to Olivia who I was asked to say is better than she thinks she is! I'm not usually asked to complete reviews for the many bookings I make behalf of my colleagues so I can only conclude that this stay was exceptionally good."

"This is the 3 rd time we have stayed at the Wild Boar and we decided to Upgrade our room this time . Unfortunately the shower had not be cleaned and had cobwebs hanging from It clearly Indicating it had not been cleaned throughly for some time . All staff were friendly and the meals are fantastic unfortunately the standard of cleanliness of the shower somewhat tarnished the stay as the room upgrade was significantly more expensive than the standard rooms. "
