"Came here for a weekend getaway with my husband and a few friends. We paid extra upon arrival for a room upgrade. Pros: the valet was amazing, friendly and helpful. The hotel has a convenient location with sea views and proximity to the seven sisters walk. Overall positive experience Cons: it’s just not a 5 star hotel, while it is certainly grand, it was more of a 3 star experience from general upkeep and offerings. The breakfast was not very good and the amenities are outdated. "

"The hosts - Karen & Malcolm were so hospitable & helpful. The Laindons Guest House is situated in an excellent location in Old Town, Hastings. The Red room was very comfortable, top quality bed linen and the facilities throughout the property are sublime with every attention to detail made. The selection & quality of the produce at breakfast was outstanding - locally sourced & we would thoroughly recommend the home mage Granola with berry compote - exceptional. "Superb Hotel in St.Leonards. The landlady gave us our keys and explained a few things. We were on the top floor (no lifts as explained in description) with a lovely clean room and a free standing bath, mini fridge, tea making facilities etc. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was made upon request, everything from full english, pancakes, veggie breakfast, smoked salmon & scrambled eggs, a great choice. Hotel is about 10 minutes to pier and 25 minutes to Hastings old town. Will come back again...
