"I had the double room. It is very basic, a bed, a small table with 2 chairs, 2 bedside tables, a bin, a mirror on the wall and some hooks for hanging clothes. The bed was very comfortable, you can adjust the heating to your liking so my room was always comfortably warm. The shared toilet facilities on my floor (3rd floor) were great...clean and always stocked. I cannot comment on food or the showers as I did not use those options. "I would like to recommend this hotel because of the experiences I lived here during my stay. I booked a whale watching tour and the following day I saw the whale from the comfort of my hotel room. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, warm and I had my room being looked after daily (tea, coffee, towels). Be prepared to sit at breakfast table with other guests and share the travel experience, as the restaurant is quite small. Enough breakfast options to fuel the day. Walkable distance from town...

"This property was excellent value and perfect for our stay, centrally located in Akureyri. The property has a well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom and very comfortable beds. Communication with the host was excellent. Our only improvement would be curtains in the bedroom as the blinds don't keep out the outside light. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily return. "
