"this is our 4th stay at Rothay and it remains one of our favourites in the lakes. in winter it’s great to cosy up after a long walk in the garden spa, and the rooms and ambience is really comfortable without any pretentious swagger for which some of the other hotels in the area would charge you £100 per night more. breakfast is good quality and staff are friendly and efficient "

"What a place !! From the staff at reception to the staff in the lounge and dining room they could not do enough for us!! The facilities in the spa were amazing and our room was something else. We will definitely be returning here hopefully very soon x"

"Lovely facilities and great atmosphere. Easy check in/out and clean room. The only issue I had was that the room itself was very cold throughout the night. But I did make the booking fairly last minute so it’s possible this was an oversight. "
