"Overall a good stay - The night porter( manager) was excellent. Comfy bed.. Dissapointed by the breakfast - Cold plates! Hot food not that hot and scrambled eggs had gone green as left for too long. "I booked the property going solely from the reviews and was not disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable. The food choices and service was good and i enjoyed eating there. I was not really expecting much as the cost was very reasonable but was impressed. The staff were really good and very pleasant. This is a town centre pub so noise may be an issue at times but during our stay it was only evident on the friday night (before xmas) which still was not a problem. I would definitely stay...

"We had a one night family birthday treat for my husband. 2 teenagers and a dog were perfectly catered for. We had 2 adjoining rooms on the ground floor with private access outdoors. The hotel had really thought about our accommodation. The food was excellent and they made every effort to help our birthday celebrations. The pool and sauna were wonderful and the grounds were heavenly. I wish we could have stayed longer!"
