Lovely B&B and very handy fo rthe town. Very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely breakfast. Also helpfully provided a summer duvet for a warm night That covered everything I needed.

This wee stay was just what I needed. From agreeing to an early check in…to the best porridge I’ve had in years, it was just lovely. Granted, it is an old building, but it’s full of character, and while perhaps the water pressure isn’t as enthusiastic as some may like, there’s no rush, it’s easy to relax at The Old Rectory.

Lovely owner. Great breakfast. Comfortable room, a bit dated but excellent value for money. Only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was very low.

I stayed for two nights as i was attempting a wedding. The room was as expected. Full English for breakfast on both mornings which set me up for the day
