"Stay was amazing ! Mr Fukushima was so kind - he helped us with discounted lift tickets, picked us up from the train station and took us grocery shopping. Location was right at the Iwatake gondola. Please note the unit is in traditional Japanese style - sleeping on the floor with Japanese pillows (very different to western pillows). Highly recommend !"

"I had a traditional Japanese room. It was super comfortable - and the view from my window of Happo One was beautiful! It was convenient walk to restaurants and bars. The Happo One gondola was a bit of a hike - but definitely within easy walking distance is the Hakuba Happo bus station. Easy to get to other mountains via the shuttle."

"Well what a 10 days that was. Fantastic from the moment we stepped into the front door to the moment we were dropped at the bus stop to leave. Excellent position to the lifts at happo one. And don’t miss the Friday night buffet (make sure u book early). The breaks and coffee every morning became my highlight each day. Set the tone for such a great day. And finally the onsen.
