"We had an excellent stay at the Grade 2 listed Britannia Palace! While the room is certainly compact it was clean throughout and suited our needs just fine for an overnight stay. Suzanne on reception was super friendly and helpful and talked me through how to register my car - car parking was free for 24 hours from when we arrived. The swimming pool and steam room were also a welcome addition for what was a very affordable price! "

The only negative point would be one of the towels we had was very badly marked with brown stains, but it didn’t ruin our stay! "

"Check in was straightforward, including the car park instructions which worked perfectly. We asked for two key cards and also opted out of a daily housekeeping service which gave us the option of a free drink voucher or more points onto our Radisson account. Our room was on the seventh floor. It was very spacious with a lovely bathroom including a powerful shower. The hotel is in a great location, close to all the tourist spots. For example, Nottingham castle and city of caves 8 minutes, market square 4 minutes, National Justice Museum 12 minutes. We would highly recommend this hotel due to its location and cleanliness. "

"I stayed at the Hugh Stewart building and it was fantastic. Lovely room, great amenities and excellent location. Breakfast was very good and staff also. My only criticism was that the internet connection was not the best and kept dropping out, otherwise my stay was wonderful."

"The location of this hotel is excellent for arts and socialising. Bars, restaurants a plenty. The staff are all friendly, helpful and very polite. The car park is right next door with entrance to the hotel on floor 2 The food was delicious and the housekeeping excellent. We're having a fabulous stay "
