"Lovely place, our room was a great size with a huge bed, fridge, microwave, oven, hob, cutlery and crockery. Great view overlooking the main road, fab for people watching. There was a smokey smell in our bathroom but thats not the fault of the hotel, previous guests not respecting the rules, it wasnt bad enough to complain but I've read they are very accommodating if a guest isn’t happy. We had a huge bathroom with a good shower and it was about a 10 minute walk to city centre but there's plenty...

"Really good location- good base to explore the surrounding areas from- Greeted by Richard who showed us around explaining everything we needed to know and told us some places to visit and eat. The accommodation is first class and highly recommended. Very clean with good appliances from washing machine to toaster. "Lovely place to stay! Right in city centre, the place itself has everything you need- well equipped from plates, pans and hairdryer to a washing machine/dryer. The TV even has Netflix. Very nice and clean and great communication from the company on how to check in etc or if there is a problem."

"The rooms are spacious and very clean. For a contactless stay, the owner was very communicative (the check-in video is very helpful) and he responded quickly. We arrived late, after an 8 hour drive, and then left early, so I can’t speak to anything beyond that it was a pleasant place to spend the night and the owner is great."

"Good for the price, basic room with a bit of decay in the property but perfectly clean. Close to town, room 6 that I was in was on the main street so was quite noisy from road noise etc. Not the hosts fault and it's close to town so what you would expect. Close to the canal which was a nice walk in the day. Felt safe and other occupants were quiet."
