Acorn Road Cabin with a view from a grand deck! Located near Shaver Lake!

Before you even step through the front door you will feel the spacious deck calling for you just to sit awhile to take in the lovely Sierra Mountain Views, as if atop a treehouse. The outside of the cabin has just been painted. Once you step inside the large living room you will enjoy the new furniture, rug and carpeting in natural colors and a mountain motif, you will appreciate the painting above the fireplace painted by the Cabins owner. The large picture window allows the outdoors in, especially that evening sunset! For movie night this Cabin has a large flatscreen TV, fire stick, WIFI available. Great comfort from the new A/C heating units.
You will find a well appointed kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal with ease. A full size refrigerator & stove & oven. A complete bath decorated in neutral tones with shower and a tub.
As you head upstairs there is a spacious loft at the top with a queen size bed. Across the way is the master bedroom. Both bedroom spaces are well appointed with attractive mountain motif and plenty of space to put your clothing away. This two story Cabin is truly a Haven of Rest that you will fall in love with...Enjoy your stay!

The perfect home base
We decided rather last-minute to see if we could catch the snow at Shaver Lake, but couldn't find a rental up there for our small group of 4. We were so delighted to find this property: it was about a 45 minute drive down from the mountain, but the drive goes quickly. It was extremely clean, cozy, and comfortable, exactly what we craved at the end of a day romping in the snow. We managed to make the trip work in our Prius because we knew the roads were bound to be clear and dry, but we'll grab a 4wd next time! Thank you for such a peaceful, lovely stay. It was lovely.

Exceptional stay!
Martha’s place was beyond amazing, great altitude, good location by the lake but also back down the hill. Her driving directions were crucial as our GPS did steer us wrong, but she provided them ahead of time, which I think makes an excellent host. The comment cards were a great touch because it shows they care about your stay. Unfortunately we have a two year old, who did EXCELLENT at the cabin, but I was unable to find a playground anywhere close for her to use. This is not a merit against the cabin, it was exceptional, just a note for parents with young ones, even shaver lake itself doesn’t offer much in terms of toddler and little kid play. Just something to keep in mind. We hiked instead and really enjoyed being able to come back to a cool and calm cabin afterwards. I would definitely stay here again!(I would just bring more toys next time :D)

Peaceful Mountain Cabin
This cabin was great for a weekend getaway. We used it as a home base for exploring the Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks. The road to the cabin is a long dirt road; I was glad I had rented an SUV. The house was well equipped with dishes, bedding, towels, a full kitchen, and wifi. Would stay again!

Nice getaway
The cabin was nice and as expected, appreciated the new air conditioning, ample supplies and little touches. Only complaint is the rough dirt road to the property and we had the impression it was closer to Shaver lake. Cabin owners gave great directions and were easy and pleasant to communicate with.

Amazing communication at lovely cabin!
Rudy and Martha were kind and communicative throughout and we loved this lovely cabin adjacent to Shaver Lake! Beautiful little spot just about 25 min west of the lake means it gets pretty warm here in the summer, but with good fans and A/C it was not a major issue. And the heat breaks at night which is absolutely lovely. Couldn’t recommend this cabin more highly, a lovely experience.

It was a nice house. I went with my brother and my friend from Santa Cruz. We had a good time at the lake and a good time at the house. The house was very private. It's a little warm during the day but we had a great time at the house
