"Beautiful hotel "

"Lovely old building with nice views of the Somerset countryside. Decent breakfast. Very close to Bath."

"Fabulous hotel with super friendly staff. Hotel is situated on a hill, so prepare yourself for a walk up the hill when returning from the city centre. Lots of steps in the hotel and parking is on a first come, first served basis at £15 per night, but that is the only negative. Lovely patio room, with fan and portable aircon on the hotest weekend of the year so far. Powerful shower, a must for my wife. Excellent breakfast, cooked to order, and the best overnight oats, i have ever tasted. We were there for a celebration weekend, and the silver package of towel art, petals and fruit bowl were well received."

From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, the room was beautifully appointed with classic charm and modern comforts, and the location offered stunning views and easy access to the heart of Bath. The tranquil garden and peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a true escape. The only slight letdown was breakfast — while the quality was good, clearer communication from the serving staff would have made the experience even better. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended for anyone visiting Bath."
