"This was our first time at Lake Vallecito - we loved doing it a Starry Nights cabin! We planned this trip to be a few days hiking Vallecito Creek Trail (excellent), a day of visiting Silverton via train and hiking to Ice Lake (excellent), and the other #3 days relaxing and kayaking/SUP the lake with our
dog
(excellent). We entertained family friends one evening over a sunset and BBQ'd tri-tip. The amenities provided at the Cabin is one of the best we've ever seen, we brought most of what we...

Cozy cabin w/ beautiful views, lakefront, free wifi internet

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"This is a small cabin but the patio makes it feel much larger. I was in the area to hike, fish and enjoy Colorado at the end of September. The cabin was great for that. The cabin is set up thoughtfully by the owners and is very efficient with its space. I like to cook when possible, and the gas grill with a side burner (along with a microwave and toaster oven) could handle anything I needed. I highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing outdoor visit."

"Loved it here, outside of town. It was a drive to the springs and piedra trail but worth it for the price and privacy and quiet. The stars were amazing. I found a little trail to take the
dogs
on in the mornings. Everything you needed was in the cabin and it was really clean and cozy"

Creekside A-Frame One acre of land

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (117)
"Host is very responsive and even called me to let me know I can check in earlier and check out later if I wanted to. The location is ok, you have to weave around a little through the neighborhood but its simple after about doing it twice. FYI your 6 minutes from Vallecito lake also bring bug spray, there are mosquitos and deer flies, not swarming but once in a while. Property has nice space between neighbors and reminds me of a working style property with cars and other things around the yard...
