"Hello. This is a beautiful hotel close to shopping, restaurants and Table Mountain. Our heat didn't work in our room and they offered to put us in another room but we were happily settled in our room and agreed to wait and it was fixed when we returned from our excursion. We loved the breakfast and the staff was wonderful to us. If something is wrong, please be courteous/patient and let the staff know. They care and will make every effort to resolve your problem. Well done and bravo Marriott....

"The exec floor corner rooms offer an incredible view. Nice lunch and gym was well equipped. Room service was awful and despite saying it was awful I wasn’t offered a refund. Save your money and eat at the Time Out market really close to the hotel. "

"We arranged to arrive 1 day early before our organized group tour of S Africa. The hotel on request arranged for private car to pick us up at airport after our international flight. When we checked in early, we learned the hotel was completely full. They had upgraded our room for the night to the top floor’s priority suite. "I felt like I’m staying with wealthy friends who live on a spectacular ocean-view hill, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but who also have professional staff ensuring warm yet perfect hospitality. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Bay Hotel. The staff excelled. Our one grip would be the breakfast arrangements which seem in disarray. Tables left uncleared ready for new guest to eat and don’t expect to be offered coffee or tea promptly. We didn’t bother on the second day and ate out. Couldn’t quite work out why there wasn’t a self service station for hot drinks. However this would not deter us from staying again the hotel is in a superb position ."

"I sgayed in the sugar daddy suite and absolutely loved it! The hotel is beautiful and the toom was very spacious. When i checked in i was warmly greeted and the staff helped me bring my bags upstairs. They do have an elevator as well. The rooftop area was gorgeous and had great music playing in the evening. The restaurant had amzing food that was freshly made each day and a food amount of options. They also had a cake of the day with a cappucino special (best way to end the day!). It was located 2 bkocks from the hop on and off bus tour and one of their main office. I would highly recommend!"

"We stayed at this hotel for 4 extra nights after our 2 week South Africa tour ended. It was a great location to walk to many meeting points for the tours we organized. The room was on the small side but we managed with one queen bed. The full breakfast (included) had plenty to choose from. All staff were attentive & helpful while assisting with our many questions. We highly recommended this hotel! "
