"Our visit to Mellington Hall Country House Hotel was fantastic. The property is amazing, the staff were really attentive and amazing also. The food was superb and the service throughout was exceptional. After the meal we sat in the lovely building which has quiet rooms or an open fire. We went just before Christmas and so the property was probably quieter than during the summer months, but we definitely would return to enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside. "Fabulouso!! Ruth was a lovely hostess, very warm and welcoming. This period property was very well maintained, cosy and decorated tastefully. "I don't know what to say other than I have sent my review to YHA with "top marks" for everything. From the friendly welcome received on check-in to the cleanliness of the room allocated, everything was absolutely perfect for the overnight stay. I slept very well & enjoyed the morning coffee in the café downstairs. It was all spot-on and excellent value for money. I will recommend to friends and I would like to book to stay there again. "

"We stayed here for two nights. The Hotel is very relaxing and the staff are all really helpful. The room was very quiet, stylish and clean. There were a couple of things to make it better, cobwebs on the ceiling (high up and only noticed when in bed) and the grout in the shower was stained. The food and drink were all really good and we would recommend the breakfast! We would most definitely go back again as we didn’t use the spa on this occasion "
