"We traveled to Drobak to visit the Christmas house/Christmas festivities. The town was very quiet as it was mid week. There were not many Christmas decorations in the town, but the hotel was gorgeous, beautifully decorated and the staff was unsurpassed. It was an easy walk from the hotel to everywhere in town. The beautiful restaurant served the best food I’d had since starting our travels 3 weeks prior through Belgium, France and Germany. The room was small but adequate and very cozy. "

"Great experience. Lady at front desk was very helpful. Thought it was a great deal for Oslo. I had a rent a car, so easy to get to. No tv in room, fine by me. One in the lobby. Shared bathroom, clean and convenient. Full shared kitchen. Very convenient. I went to the local market, heated up pasta and sauce. I would definitely recommend. Lobby had a nice zen feeling. "It was a great option for cheaper accommodation in Oslo. There was a bus stop literally out the back door for buses taking you to the city centre. A main train station was 20min walk. Beautiful view from the hotel out over the water. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff very friendly. My only dislike was the size of the single beds in the twin room.
