"Check in was a shambles! I made a booking for 2 adults and was aware that I needed photo ID but, nowhere was it mentioned that ID is required for all members of the party. Luckily the receptionist accepted my partners credit card as ID. Room was a great size, everything I needed although the bathroom floor was a bit iffy. Breakfast was great."

"At least my third time staying at the Britannia Manchester. Centrally located, a beautiful restoration of a former warehouse/factory, good morning breakfasts, helpful staff. My only gripe is that one has to pay extra for wi-fi in one's room. Otherwise, an excellent, convenient stay and I'll definitely stay there again next time I'm in Manchester."
